Halloween costume ideas?

ok if you guys have played GTA san andreas once and know about the gangs "Tha Ballas" and "Grove Street Family", so me and my friend want to be Tha Ballas which they wear purple so i dont know if its a great idea to be a gangster for halloween or the cops will think if we are a gangs? so do you think we should be gangster for halloween or not?
