Im having crazy things happening to my heart?

This has happened twice today and several times in the past couple of months, the only way I can describe it is like my heart is still beating but its like choking, it will last for about 10 seconds or a little longer. It feels like I might go into a heart attack. A few months ago I suffered a panick attack that landed me in the hospital, they said my heart was beating extremely fast and that I could have very well went into cardiac arrest if I had not called 911. What is up with me, is this normal, should I get help?
