I have a few questions about people in coma's . because i really understand the way it's functioned?

You can die while in a coma, but your question is difficult to answer because there are different types of comas caused by different things and with different potential outcomes. You won't be woken up from this state to eat or whatever else because being in a coma is much different than simply being asleep. Your eyes don't respond to light, you feel no pain, and you will have no awareness or memory of anything that happened when you do come out of it. Gastrostomy tubes will be used for feeding the person which is a simple tube that goes into a small incision on your abdomen and from there directly inside your stomach. They use a liquid formula sort of like baby formula that has all the nutrition a person needs and use the tube to get it inside their stomach. Another option for feeding the person is to put a small tube into their nose and push it in all the way down to the inside of their stomach. There are also times when the person will require a breathing tube and a machine that will force a person to breathe when they can' t breathe on their own.
