I know the 2 runs concurrently so it will subsidize some of my pay during fmla. My company actually offers a total of 26 weeks short term disability and 12 weeks fmla. My granite countertop installation is not level. They used some type of adhesive or caulk to adhere it to the cabinets. There is no plywood only the 3cm slab. Is it possible to remove the countertops without damaging them, level the cabinets and then re-install? There are two very small seams, less than 2" each, that attach a strip behind the range. Can those seams be broken without damage? I don't think the undermount sink will be an issue. Thanks for your help.

Dogs don't have the cognition skills to 'think' they are a puppy. You simply have not trained an energetic young dog properly. While 'walking' is supposedly some magic fix for dogs, it does not train them to behave properly - just to be tired and while it makes some tv personality look good, it isn't training and your dog lacks training. Get back to the obedience cles and train him well in all situations. I primarily train my dogs in obedience in my home so that they behave well there instead of just taking them out to train them like a lot of people do. I also take them out but since most of their time is spent in their home with me, that it where I want them to behave most of the time. Dogs don't generalize well so go to the obedience cl, learn how to properly train him and don't wait for him to get too old and infirmed to misbehave.

Extremely bad breakthrough bleeding cramps!!?

I am experiencing very bad cramps that almost unbearable. I am bleeding very heavy and should not be on my period for another week. I've had very sore for two weeks. I am on birth control but have been taking it for a year and always had a regular period. The pain is so bad I can barely stay at school or hold myself back from crying. I have a hampster. About six months ago, I noticed a "growth" down by where he goes to the bathroom. Friends who had owned these type of critters told me it was the testicles. I didn't think so. He has scabs on his head and legs, this growth is about the size of large marble or the cirfrance of a quarter. He is losing his hair and due to the growth, is moving very slow. I took the position early on that I was not going to treat whatever was wrong - if I even could - I also took the position that as long as he was eating and drinking and excreting waste normally, I wouldn't "do" anything. Well, I fear I may be getting to a fork in the road here soon. Where I have to make a decision. My question - do Vets ever put to sleep an animal of this size or what other humane thing could I do - or should I just let nature take it's natural course?

Klonopin (Clonazepam) issues?

I'm 17 years old and for about a year now I've been prescribed klonopin for general anxiety. I started at 0.5 mg which worked ok until recently when I requested my dose be increased to 1mg pills. The script is written out to take 1 two times a day.. but I usually take 2 or 3 every night, and that's it. It lasts about 8 hours I think. So anyway, I've been developing a sort of addiction now where during the day I have this really noticeable rage, and i'm very irritable. It doesn't go away until I take my nightly double dose of klonopin. What should I do? Try to cut back to 1mg twice a day? The problem is for me it seems to be most useful as a 'chill pill' before bed. I don't like being all sedated and apathetic during the day, but I don't like having male PMS either. Please don't give me answers like "Oh you're 17, don't take it at all." I do need it.

Very ill dog- how to cope with death?

My dog is really sick. She is an old dog and developed arthritis and bone cancer. Everyday she is getting weaker and weaker, and it has come down to the end. She hasn't eaten in 3 days and hasn't drank water in around 2 days. If she doesn't p away naturally, my family decided it is best to consider euthanasia. She has labored breathing but is still some-what attentive. We will have to put her to sleep within the next day or two because she is so frail and sick. I'm absolutely heartbroken and don't know how to deal with losing her. I'm now 20 and have had her since I was 9 or 10. She is a huge part of my family. I'm devastated and can't stop crying. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me cope with her death?

Hubby has badly cracked hands with tiny cuts...?

He works outside with dirt, concrete and water all day. His hands are extremely rough with small open cuts that open up from the dryness. It's very painful for him. He tries nightly to bandage them with a bunch of tiny bandages, but it hardly workd. Anybody have a treatment for this? He doesn't have medical insurance.

I got rx'd Prevacid for it, my periods are very strange but they have been for years sometimes I get two periods a month and they are sooo heavy...huge clots, I have developed minor acne and oily scalp/dandruff and a strange 'wet dog' odor eminates from my hair (my aunt told me she got the same smell before being diagnosed with ovarian cancer), and weight gain for no reason! By the way I am a 30 year old woman. My mom is currently in stage 4 terminal cervical cancer but I know cervical and ovarian cancer's are not the same. Anyways guess just want to know if anyone has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and experienced the same symptoms I am describing.

In their last year in that conference they went 11-1, only losing to Miami, and beat Boise State in their bowl game. UCF could possibly get into a BCS conference. This happens often when I edit videos on WMM. I have found a solution though. Just take the audio and cut it up a few times using the "Split" on under the video preview screen. This usually works. Or just publish the video and the audio might be there. Sometimes it won't play in the preview but it will when the video is finally published.

Confused about my illness?

On Sunday night I had this lump in my throat, I didn't think anything of it. I went to the doctors office on Tuesday, and they said I had a cold. But my symptoms are a cough, and I've been coughing up thick, clear or yellow phlegm/mucus. I've had a major headache and backache. I've been slightly wheezing. I've had a fever of 101.5, I've been extremely fatigued and tired, to the point of where I dread getting out of bed. I've had chills, and night sweats. There's been other symptoms but they aren't as major, which is apparent because I've forgotten them. Does anyone know what it could be? well now that you know you wake up to the song your letting your brain think that you want to wake up at that song, and so i think your gonna keep doing it. make a differnet playlist or erase the song. your brain knows that thats its cue to wake up. so you need to train it otherwise. for example next time you sleep put that song like number 4 on your playlist so your deeper into your sleep and then try and make your brain realize that it can go to sleep with that song

Help! How do i cook a rack of lamb in a convection oven?

I have been TRYING to cook my 2 racks of lamb for the past hour and 20 minutes but its STILL RAW! I am using a convection oven for the first time. The directions on the rack of lamb i bought said to cook it in oven for 30-35 minutes at 425 degrees. So I set it on bake and at 425 degrees.... but 35 minutes later, it was still fully RAW! So I put it back in for 30 minutes... Still raw... another 20 and its brown on outside where it is breaded but its totally raw inside. What the heck? It was fully defrosted and has been in there for the past hour and 20 minutes... it was covered in foil, but now i just uncovered it. Perhaps it will cook better that way??? Help please... Im super hungry for this lamb over here and the veggies and rice are waiting for me to gobble them up. Thanks!!!!

i need a new laptop cause the ones supplied to us by the school seriously suck. i went to harvey norman today just to look at what they have, previously i was going to buy a macbook air and install windows 7 OS so i could play windows games, but then i saw this dual touch screen small laptop that looks really cool, only problems i had with it were the touch screen not responding half of the time, not sure if that was bad hardware or just overuse of the demo. i also dont know, since i like to play games, would it be able to play low graphic games? or run programs like GameMaker or Adobe Photoshop?

Help, theres a dog with an amptutated leg outside my house, what can i do?

My 9 year old German Shepherd has went from 90 lbs to 45 lbs, he has refused to eat for 3 weeks.?

Where can one find hard data supporting human-caused climate change?

I admit I am skeptical about man's activities affecting climate, mainly because no one ever presents data. What I see most of all are statements saying this group of scientists believe, or this UN group believes. Sometimes you might see "carbon has increased in the last century due to man's activity, and this is causing warming". Where is the data?? My understanding is that this hypothesis (some say fact) is based on computer models. I am not a scientist, nor do I construct simulations, but I know a good deal about the modeling of complex systems from the industry in which I spent 15 years. I saw a model described in Scientific American 5-6 years ago that was pathetic. Where is the data that will tell me precisely how much of climate change is caused by man, precisely how much is caused by sun spot activity, how much is caused by the earths wobble on its axis, volcanic activity, methane introduced by fauna, etc. Unless the discrete effect of each of these causes can be stated with an extremely high degree of precision, a model that will predict future change with even 25% accuracy cannot be constructed. Show me the data - or tell me where I can find it. Also - any fact or opinion promulgated by any part of the United Nations cannot be considered reliable in any way, so don't waste my time with anything from them.

I love ultimate fighting, i think its awesome, but im skeptical of what Dana White keeps claiming. UFC is great but the huge fights are always on PPV unlike the Supper Bowl or World Series which everyone can see for free. UFC is also not easy for an average person to enjoy with their family, for instance a young boy can play catch with his father, but cant go out to his backyard and bash his fathers head in. Smoking is probably the most unattractive thing I can see a girl do, except for hard drugs. The smell is disgusting, and it gets into her hair and skin, which is very unattractive. Smoking also shows a weak personality. I don't find it attractive when a girl gets addicted to something so dirty. Even casual smoking is bad.
